We are looking for an experienced financial services administrator to join our small family run financial planning business. We provide independent financial advice on pensions and investments to help our clients live the life they want both now and in the future.
You will provide administrative and client relationship support to help administer and implement our clients’ financial planning strategies. As an essential part of the team, you will be key to delivering a first-class service and experience to our clients.
The ideal candidate must be motivated, details orientated, organised and great at building relationships. We are a small team, so a can-do attitude is a must. Training will be provided, and the role will be varied and interesting.
The Role
* Provide a warm, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries.
* Responsible for client meeting preparation and diary management.
* Obtain policy information, illustrations and valuations from product providers.
* Obtain pertinent information from clients.
* Administration and maintenance of client records.
* Submission of new business applications and set up new accounts.
* Chase, track and liaise with providers regarding new business submitted and keep accurate records of progress.
* Ensure the end-to-end business process is managed and tracked efficiently in line with practice and regulatory standards.
* Produce and manage the delivery of the outputs from any meetings, including meeting notes and action points.
* General office administration, including post, scanning/copying and record keeping.
* Provide support to other team members as needed
Skills & Experience
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Five year's experience working in a relevant administrative/client relations role
* A positive attitude

The package
* Salary FTE £25,000 to £30,000 pro rata depending on experience.
* FTE of 21 days holiday (pro rata to relevant hours per week), plus bank holidays. In addition the company has a scheduled shutdown for Christmas and a shorter one in August, and these days are awarded as additional days’ holiday.
* 5% matching employer pension contribution.
The successful candidate should be able to work Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
