Anglian Water is the largest water company in the UK, a complex and exciting organisation delivering the best possible service to 6 million customers. The Anglian Water Alliances support the business with a whole range of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects to upgrade the Anglian Water assets. As a Quantity surveying apprentice, you’ll gain exposure to various elements of the commercial end to end process, consisting of the controlling and managing of costs on construction projects, working with a whole range of people within the business to make sure that everyone works to quality standards and helps keep the project on track. You will liaise with the client, prepare tenders and contracts, work with subcontractors, valuing completed works, managing budgets. What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? The successful candidate will undertake the Construction Quantity Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship programme with our training partner ARU (Anglia Ruskin University). You will complete both the Construction Quantity Surveying Technician (L4) and the Construction Quantity Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship Top-up and achieve a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree. This will be achieved through a day release programme of study delivered from ARU's new campus in Peterborough.
