HR Advisor
Location: Rochester, Medway
Contract: 6 Months
Working Pattern: Hybrid (4 days on-site)
Rate: £20 PAYE / £26.76 Umbrella
Overview We're currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Rochester on an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity for a confident HR professional who can provide practical support across a wide range of employee relations and generalist HR activities.
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers and employees
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues
Support with investigations, hearings and documentation
Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with best practice
Coach and guide line managers on HR matters
Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate HR records and support reporting requirements
Key Requirements Proven experience in an HR Advisor role or similar
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
Confident managing a range of employee relations cases
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Strong communication and organisational skills
CIPD qualification or working towards is desirable
