About the role
Sanofi is committed to improving lives through scientific innovation. We are seeking a Head of Account to Report & Tax Compliance to oversee end-to-end A2R operations within our UK and Ireland finance teams, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic partnership with senior management.
Main responsibilities
* Ensure accurate and fair financial statements for all UK & Ireland entities, overseeing accounts managed by various service towers.
* Lead and deliver high-quality, compliant A2R services, achieving KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
* Collaborate on A2R projects, standardize processes, and support efficiency initiatives.
* Maintain compliance with international and local financial standards and regulations.
* Coordinate external audits and respond to audit inquiries.
* Manage statutory and tax reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Support strategic business transactions through technical accounting evaluations.
* Foster a culture of collaboration and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
* Oversee statutory accounts preparation and external audits.
* Review tax balances, ensure proper tax payments, and liaise on transfer pricing.
Stakeholder management
* Build strategic partnerships with CFO, tax, treasury, and other finance leaders.
* Maintain relationships with regional and external partners, including HMRC and external auditors.
Candidate profile
Education
* Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW)
* Degree preferred
Skills & Knowledge
* Strong understanding of IFRS, UK tax laws, and finance processes
* Excellent program management and strategic thinking skills
* Proven leadership and communication abilities in multicultural environments
* Fluent in English
* IT proficiency, including Excel and SAP
Experience
* Extensive finance experience, especially in tax and international settings
* Experience managing large transformation projects within a HUB/BPO model
