Up to £85,000 per annum + 20% Bonus (OTE up to £102,000)
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family‑run care provider for an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead a well‑established, medium‑sized nursing home in Leicester with a Good CQC rating.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation with strong on‑site and head office support, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality care and leading your team effectively.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant day‑to‑day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of person‑centred nursing care.
You will be a hands‑on and visible leader, driving performance, developing your team and maintaining strong quality and occupancy levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care
* Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
* Overseeing care planning, medication management and clinical standards
* Managing staffing levels, rotas and agency usage effectively
* Driving occupancy and overseeing resident assessments
* Maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders
* Embedding robust safeguarding, quality assurance and health & safety systems
* Recruiting, developing and performance‑managing a high‑performing team
About You
* Proven experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home setting
* Registered Manager status (or eligibility to register)
* Strong track record of achieving and maintaining Good CQC ratings
* In‑depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical compliance
* Commercial awareness with experience managing occupancy and staffing costs
* Resilient, adaptable and hands‑on leadership style
* Passionate about developing teams and delivering high standards of care
