Electrical Technician / Electrical Assembler / Control & Instrumentation Technician
Location: Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs: 8.30am to 4.30pm, Fri: 8.30am to 4pm, with flexi-time available)

Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble electrical and electronic subassemblies from schematics, drawings, or verbal instructions.
* Wire, solder, and assemble harnesses, PCBs, control consoles, connectors, and transformer assemblies.
* Perform troubleshooting and testing of electrical and electronic assemblies.
* Work with low voltage AC/DC panel wiring, high-voltage installations, and control/data systems.
* Ensure assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency.
* Maintain quality and safety compliance in line with ISO9001 standards.
* Support production processes and maintain good housekeeping practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
* 1-5 years of experience in electrical/electronic assembly or shop operations (preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
* Knowledge of low and high voltage installations, control systems, and fibre optic handling.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
* Schedule, quality, and safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
* ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (preferred but not essential).
* IEEE 18th Edition accreditation (advantageous).
* Experience with production processes and electrical systems.
