Hourly pay rate:
£22 per hour - £26 per hour depending on experience

Are you someone who is kind, caring, and naturally reassuring? We’re looking for just the right person to join a small, dedicated team of personal assistants supporting a gentle-natured 74-year-old woman living with cognitive decline, Parkinsonism, and some anxiety.
She lives just outside a rural village, in a home that offers a unique mix of peace and practicality—fields and woodland on one side, and a busy main road on the other. While it’s a calm setting overall, you\'ll need to be a car driver with access to your own vehicle to reach her home reliably.
This role involves a short daily evening visit—just 30 minutes—helping her feel safe and settled for the night. There’s no personal care involved. Your time with her would include giving her prescribed oral medication, letting her loyal dog out into the garden one last time, making sure the house is secure, and helping her get comfortable and ready for bed. It’s a gentle, calm routine that makes a big difference to her peace of mind.
Start times would either be 8:30 to 9:00 pm or 8:45 to 9:15 pm—seven days a week. This might suit someone local looking for a regular, meaningful connection or to top up existing hours with a quiet, low-pressure role. There may also be opportunities to take on additional shifts covering holidays or sickness for other PAs on the team.
