Description
* Manage and monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection.
* Maintain strong communication with clients to address payment queries and resolve issues efficiently.
* Reconcile customer accounts and process adjustments when required.
* Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and collection progress for management review.
* Assist with setting and monitoring credit limits for new and existing clients.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the credit control process.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes and support the overall accounting function.
* Identify and suggest improvements to streamline credit control operations.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving client queries.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an accounting and finance environment.
