Vacancy Details Below: VACANCY LHR - Great Career Opportunity LOCATION - London Heathrow Airport POSITION - Security Officer (Permanent, Full Time, 40 Hours Weekly) HOURS OF WORK - Shift work (Various Shift patterns) RATE OF PAY - £13.00 per Hour Pay Increase on April 2026 Circa - £26,500 CLOSING DATE - Ongoing KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES Performing versatile security functions including, but not restricted to, X ray Screening, body searches, bag searches, aircraft searches, access control, document checking, aircraft guarding and passenger interviewing etc. Use of security industry approved systems, such as metal detectors, ETD machines, x-ray machines and hand-held tablets. PERSON SPECIFICATION: 5-year checkable work history. Full colour vision and hearing that meets our required standard. The physical fitness to cope with long periods of standing, sitting, bending, and walking. Good command of English, spoken, written and for fluent communication additional languages are always a bonus. Able to work under pressure and a warm, engaging personality, positive, friendly approach, customer service skills. Punctual, professional and attention to detail Willing to support operations out of LHR as and when required (upon agreement) YOU MUST ALSO BE: 18 years or older to start training.
