Role Overview
You will join a small, highly skilled team focused on delivering small‑batch, high‑quality transmission components for motorsport and aerospace industries. The role supports small‑batch CNC turning work for high‑quality transmission components, with support from offline programming tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret technical drawings and plan route cards to produce components within routed timeframes
* Operate CNC lathes, ideally Victor Turn II 26 HD, Leadwell LTC 25iL with Siemens 828D, or Doosan Puma GT3100
* Read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including modifying speeds and feeds as necessary
* Apply working knowledge of turning tips and their correct applications
* Operate a small manual lathe or Harrison Alpha 400 plus NC lathe (advantageous)
Qualifications
* Experience with Fanuc controls (essential)
* Knowledge of Siemens controls (advantageous)
Contract & Compensation
Hours: Night shift, Monday–Thursday 21:15–07:00 (37.5 hours per week).
Contract type: Permanent.
Salary: £41,366 per annum, including shift allowance (overtime rates available).
