We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager on a part time basis to take responsibility for managing our finance function. You will oversee day-to day operations, lead and develop an Accounts Assistant, and provide accurate reporting to support senior management decision-making.
£45,000 per annum (Pro-Rata)
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop 1 Accounts Assistant
* Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end schedules.
* Monitor project financials (actuals vs budgets).
* Oversee credit control and weekly supplier payments.
* Complete quarterly VAT returns.
* Process monthly payroll and pensions.
* Manage Bank accounts and cashflow, including foreign currency accounts.
Skills
We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a hands-on role within a collaborative team.
* Experience of managing staff.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Advanced Excel knowledge
* Strong skills using XERO (payroll experience a must, Xero Projects a plus).
* Someone with a proven track record in finance leadership.
* Professionally qualified or qualified by experience.
