The Adult Safeguarding Team is seeking an experienced Social Worker who is motivated and passionate about working with adults, often in challenging situations. The Social Work Team is part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary assessment service that includes Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Surveyors, collaborating with local health trust colleagues to meet the holistic needs of our service users.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and meet the needs of service users.
* Apply principles of professionalism, ambition, accountability, dignity, respect, and empathy in service delivery.
* Utilize a strength-based, collaborative approach to support service users.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance, including the Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Human Rights Act, and Equality Act.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Social Worker, particularly in adult safeguarding.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and the ability to apply it in practice.
* Ability to work effectively in challenging circumstances.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
