Have knowledge about the National Curriculum and have the ability to use this to raise standards. Be confident and effective in the use of assessment to promote and accelerate pupil progress. Have high expectations of themselves and the children and staff. Demonstrate a good level of knowledge and understanding of effective KS2 practice.
