The role is also required to carry out audits on site, ensuring your team are working safely, efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale. This is a 6-month contract with a view to being extended! As a Civils Supervisor you will… Day to day Supervision of engineers / technicians staff, vehicles, equipment, and issues arising from site activity. Monitor performance of engineers/technicians with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment. Front line People Management responsibilities such as return to work interviews and investigations. Responsible for Vehicles; Plant & Equipment, ensuring they are operated and maintained as intended. Ensure Company policies and improvement action plans are effectively implemented, monitored, and audited. Operate in line with Company policies and strategies and be proactive in promoting improvement locally. Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated. Monitor performance and safety requirements regularly. Work closely with management team to ensure work is pre-sited and pre-planned when required. Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate. Client site liaison including client audits. Subcontractor monitoring. Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems. About you… Previous experience in the Utilities and/or Telecoms industry is required. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
