Multi-skilled Engineer - Stansted
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + overtime available
Shifts: Monday to Friday, days or 4 on, 4 off, day shifts
Commutable from; Sawbridgeworth, Bishops Stortford, Mountfitchet, Great Dunmow, Harlow, Takeley, Hertford, Ware, Braintree, Epping, Chelmsford, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Stevenage, St Albans, Cambridge, Colchester, Brentwood, Luton
Are you a multi skilled engineer or maintenance engineer or shift engineer looking for your next move in manufacturing?
We are partnering with a market leading FMCG company, working in a highly skilled, fast passed engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond efficiently to breakdowns in a timely manner to maximise equipment uptime
* Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on a variety of equipment
* Use system to record maintenance activity and planned maintenance and track KPI's
* Work effectively with external contractors and production teams to ensure smooth running of the factory
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, environmental and health and safety standards.
* Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Key skills & experience:
* Time served or relevant level 3 engineering qualifications
* Beneficial to have experience with valves across water, air and production lines
* Previous maintenance or engineering experience within the FMCG industry
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and health and safety standards
* Flexibility to cover shifts if required.
* PLC fault finding or diagnostics skills
