Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Driffield (4 days in, 1 day from home)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Type: Full-time, permanent
Elevation Tech & Transformation are supporting our client, a well-established and growing construction business based in Driffield, who are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their expanding IT team.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s IT systems, providing 3rd line support and helping shape future infrastructure to support ongoing business growth. This hands-on role involves managing on-premise and cloud systems, ensuring stability, security and scalability across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.
* Support Windows and Nix servers, storage and virtualisation platforms.
* Oversee backups, disaster recovery and system performance.
* Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange and SQL environments.
* Provide 3rd line support and resolve complex technical issues.
* Ensure IT documentation and processes meet ITIL standards.
About You:
* Strong knowledge of networking, cloud, domain services and endpoint protection.
* Experienced with Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SQL and Mimecast.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence required.
