Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with engineering teams to understand modelling requirements for battery energy storage systems.
* Develop and maintain high-performance, reliable engineering software solutions using Python.
* Build financial modelling tools applicable across diverse regions.
* Implement and optimize algorithms for battery management and monitoring.
* Integrate software solutions into BESS products in collaboration with hardware engineers.
* Test and validate software to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Experience Required:
* Fundamental knowledge of engineering software development.
* MSc/MEng or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
* Portfolio showcasing system optimization experience.
* Strong mathematical mindset and proficiency.
* Expertise in Python; familiarity with Git and SQL preferred.
* Experience in energy systems analysis and noise modelling desirable.
