Job: Team Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Team Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of sewing machinist within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise and support a team of production machinists
•Allocate and organise daily work tasks to meet production schedules
•Prepare jobs and ensure materials and resources are available
•Coordinate materials and job flow across the production process
•Liaise closely with the company Production Planner to maintain workflow
•Manage and monitor production processes and performance KPIs
•Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
•Carry out inspection of finished goods to ensure quality standards
•Motivate and develop the team to achieve productivity targets
•Machine set-up and perform first line maintenance
Key Skills and Experience
•Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
•Sewing manufacturing experience is essential
•Experience working with industrial sewing machines
•Strong organisational and process management skills
•Ability to lead, motivate and support a production team
•Quality-focused with strong attention to detail
