Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEMH school in Stoke-on-Trent.
This role is ideal for individuals with:
* Experience supporting pupils with behavioural or mental health needs
* A background in SEN, education, youth work, care work, or psychology
* Transferable skills from other professions where you’ve supported or mentored young people
Your Role:
* Support pupils with SEMH needs 1:1 or in small groups
* Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and engagement in learning
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting individualised learning plans
* Help develop pupils’ confidence, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
* Contribute to creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience in behaviour management, mental health support, SEN, or psychology
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
* Confident in handling challenging situations and supporting pupils’ emotional needs
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
