Retail Store Manager – Camberley shop
Salary: £26,259 - £30,804 plus benefits

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role
We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. We need a motivating store manager to join our trading team. You will act as an ambassador, motivate staff, and maximise sales and fundraising targets, creating a welcoming experience for the community.
Responsibilities
* Guide, inspire and engage paid staff and volunteers; recruit, retain and develop a diverse shop team.
* Own commercial running of the store, including display, merchandising, stock management, shop standards, layout, sales and income.
* Lead by example, providing excellent customer and supporter service.
* Maximise profit through effective cost and sales control.
* Build relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
* Organise and run creative fundraising events to meet targets.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, administration and HR policies.
* Perform varied manual handling and physical activity in day‑to‑day duties.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience managing and inspiring a diverse team.
* Comfort working within targets and motivating others to achieve them.
* Ability to multi‑task in a lively environment.
* Knowledge of high‑street fashion retail.
* Commercial awareness and knowledge of customer service excellence.
* Adaptability in changing situations and ability to work independently.
* Awareness of price, value and worth of items.
* Flexibility, covering the needs of the store on a rota basis.
