Demand Planning Executive

Based in Lutterworth, LE17 4DU (3 days a week in the office)
Fixed term contract until end of March 2026
Salary - £32,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Demand Planning Executive to join our team in Lutterworth, covering a secondment until the end of March 2026. Your primary role is to be a principal account contact and to coordinate the creation of the demand plan both internally and externally. You will be the gatekeeper for demand entering the plan and will challenge the demand requirements against historic performance. You will also be responsible for aligning the plan with external customers to ensure excellent execution.
What you will be doing:
* Facilitate the data capture of monthly one-off’s to be removed from the statistical forecast
* Work with internal customer teams and build consensus on the demand forecast
* Act as a key point of contact for external customer supply chain teams, aligning on the consensus demand forecast and sharing it, ensuring volume and execution alignment
* Challenge forecasts with customers
* Attend daily and weekly DS/golden thread meetings to understand supply constraints and their impact on forecast
* Manage and support the 3PL relationship
* Ensure new line forms, range reviews, and new product development timing and forecast are updated on customer systems
* Support cost-out projects and initiatives
What we need from you:
* Previous experience within a demand planning role
* Highly numerical with advanced Excel capabilities
* Ability to analyze complex information and present it in an easy-to-understand format
* Good at building relationships, including conflict resolution skills and the ability to challenge
