Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Location: Bishop's Stortford
Salary: £26,000 - £33,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications, with potential for higher earnings)
Start Date: Flexible
Hours: Flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm
The Role
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will:
* Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging activities and play opportunities.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
* Observe, assess and record children's progress and development.
* Ensure the safety, welfare and safeguarding of all children at all times.
* Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
* Support daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across different nursery rooms to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.
* Promote inclusion and support the individual needs of every child.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety throughout the setting.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
* A sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection practices.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
