Location: SS John Fisher And Thomas More Roman Catholic High School, Colne, Gibfield Road, Colne, Lancashire, BB8 8JT.
Hours: 27.5 hours per week (part-time, term time). Core hours Monday to Friday 1:00pm – 6:30pm. Start date 20 July 2026.
Salary: Grade 4 SCP (£25,185 – £25,989) pro‑rata £18,718 – £19,316.
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and proactive Site Supervisor to maintain a safe, clean and well‑maintained school environment for students, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks and site security checks.
* Set up rooms and equipment and respond to day‑to‑day site issues.
* Ensure health and safety compliance across the site.
* Provide cover during holiday periods and occasional later evenings.
Essential Qualifications
* Full driving licence (at school’s discretion).
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 qualification in Caretaking (or equivalent).
* Experience of undertaking manual tasks (e.g., maintenance, DIY, etc).
* Experience of supervising staff.
* Experience of testing portable electrical equipment.
* Experience of security‑related duties.
