to join our Wiltshire service for a 12-month maternity cover. Our integrated community drug and alcohol service is dedicated to supporting individuals across Wiltshire, and we want you to be a part of this transformative journey! Your Role and Responsibilities
As a vital member of our
Connect Service
, you will: Engage in opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions. Assist with benzodiazepine reductions and alcohol/opiate detoxifications. Provide relapse prevention medications and health care assessments. Administer detoxification medication and pabrinex. Conduct alcohol and opiate detoxification assessments. Offer Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations. Collaborate closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services. You'll also have the opportunity to attend local prescriber meetings and receive one-on-one clinical supervision, all while contributing to the delivery of clinically excellent services. Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will: Be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or be a qualified Pharmacist with independent prescriber status. Have confidence in managing all aspects of prescribing for opiates and alcohol detoxifications. Be an excellent communicator and highly organized. Possess the ability to create flexible and tailored support packages. Have a genuine interest in helping people and a deep level of empathy and patience. Working Conditions
