An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well established property services business, providing vital support to the team with company secretarial duties and leasehold property administration.
Salary £30,000 – £32,000 depending on experience. This is a full time, office based role.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate company secretarial records, issuing certificates and updating registers, as well as supporting solicitors and property managers with leasehold enquiries during property sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer Annual Confirmation Statements for RMCs, RTMs and Ltd companies using company secretarial software
* Update share and membership registers and issue share or membership certificates following sales
* Manage changes to Directors and Officers and submit filings accordingly
* Advise the accounts department of new ownership details after completion of sales
* Liaise with solicitors regarding leasehold management service fees and prepare Leasehold Information Packs (LPE1s)
* Work closely with Property Managers to complete and forward LPE1s to solicitors, responding to any further enquiries
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a legal secretary, legal administration or property management role
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with solicitors, property managers and other stakeholders
* Proficient with IT systems and able to learn new software quickly
* A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
