Starting Salary: Part time- £18,360.00
Hours:
Part-time – 25.5 hrs
Monday – 8.30am - 6pm
Tuesday – 8.30am - 6pm
Wednesday – 8.30am - 6pm
Occasional Saturday morning work maybe required.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This role offers a great opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly practice where your skills will be valued and utilised fully.
You will be involved in all aspects of nursing care and work alongside our experienced team to deliver high standards of clinical and client service. You will be fully supported in all aspects of your role including nurse clinics.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients.
* Assist with surgical procedures, anaesthesia, and recovery.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
* Support with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and pharmacy duties.
* Deliver excellent client communication and education.
* Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with practice policies.
* Join our nurse clinic rota and be confident in providing services such as second vaccinations, nail clipping, microchipping, post and pre op checks amongst some other nurse consults.
* There will also be the occasional reception cover needed, such as covering lunches.
Essential Requirements
* Fully qualified and registered with the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse.
* Strong all-round clinical nursing skills.
* A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
* Professional, reliable, and committed to patient welfare.
* Be computer literate and be able to use a variety of software.
* Must be proactive and excellent time management (Essential)
