Commercial Vehicle Technician Required in Glasgow
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a reputable Light Commercial Vehicle Centre in Glasgow. Duties of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic position:
7. Perform vehicle health checks and diagnostic assessments on light commercial vehicles
8. Carry out routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
9. Complete repairs, including diagnostics, replacement of parts, and light mechanical work
10. Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance
11. Accurately complete all necessary repair documentation and warranty claims
12. Uphold high standards of work quality and customer care at all times
Candidate requirements for this Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role:
13. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair
14. Previous experience working with light commercial vehicles is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
15. Full UK driving licence
16. Self-motivated and eager to develop your skills within a busy workshop environment
17. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship
18. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
