Position: Senior Logistics Manager
Location: Remote (Northern Ireland)
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
About the Role
Our client, a world-leading provider of innovative environmental solutions, is expanding its global footprint and requires an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead international shipping, fulfilment, and supply chain operations. This pivotal role is suited for a logistics professional who excels in cost control, global coordination, and continuous improvement. You will ensure seamless, compliant, and cost-effective delivery worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Global Shipping Oversight: Plan and coordinate international shipments, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery across global markets.
* Freight & Cost Control: Negotiate with carriers, monitor freight spend, and achieve cost savings while maintaining high service standards.
* Customs & Compliance: Manage customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with international trade laws.
* Fulfilment & Warehousing: Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers, oversee inventory, and optimize warehousing and fulfilment operations.
* Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop logistics forecasts and budgets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
* Risk & Process Management: Identify supply chain risks, document processes, and standardize procedures according to best practices.
* Systems & Reporting: Use logistics management software and CRM tools to track shipments and report KPIs to leadership.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in international logistics, supply chain, or freight management.
* Proven success in cost control and carrier negotiations globally.
* Deep knowledge of customs clearance, trade compliance, and shipping regulations.
* Experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations.
* Skills in forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple shipments across time zones.
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient with logistics systems, CRMs, and reporting tools.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working remotely.
