Senior Charge Midwife Band 7
We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and motivated midwife to join our leadership team.
This is a part-time permanent position of 22.7 hours, focusing on intrapartum care, with a days/nights and weekend rotation. The post holder should be able to work flexibly throughout the maternity unit.
The successful candidate will be a registered Midwife on the NMC Register, educated to degree level or equivalent, with relevant clinical experience. Responsibilities include providing safe, effective, person-centered care with a trauma-informed focus, in accordance with NHS Highlands policies and statutory requirements, while demonstrating effective leadership and management.
The role requires effective communication and professional leadership, collaborating with the team to promote excellence in care, quality improvement, assurance, and resource management. Clinical expertise will support assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care within their remit, utilizing expert clinical skills and judgment.
