Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday 07:30–11:30 (overtime and weekend work available)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access / CompEx Electrician to join our team on a long-term contract at the Fife Ethylene Plant (FEP), ExxonMobil.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial project within a well-established, safety-driven environment.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation and maintenance works via rope access methods, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform electrical installation, inspection, and maintenance tasks in hazardous areas.
* Lead and supervise rope access activities as an IRATA Level 3 Technician, ensuring compliance with IRATA and site safety procedures.
* Conduct daily toolbox talks, rescue plans, and work-at-height risk assessments.
* Liaise with project management, electrical supervisors, and client representatives.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all works meet CompEx and industry standards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* IRATA Level 3 Certification (current)
* CompEx EX01–EX04 Certification
* City & Guilds / SVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* First Aid at Work Certificate (must be in-person; online not accepted)
* Strong industrial / petrochemical site experience preferred

* Standard Week: 38 hours
* Overtime: x1.4 (OT1) and x1.8 (OT2)
* Rate Review: Increase aligned with NAECI in January 2026
* Radius or Lodge Allowance:
o Radius payment for local workers (within 35 miles)
o Lodge payment of £337.12 per week for non-locals (>35 miles)
