Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the M&E design team through all project phases, from concept to completion.
* Develop and implement design strategies that align with project objectives and sustainability goals.
* Conduct design reviews, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and quality assurance.
* Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
* Monitor project progress and provide mentorship to team members, facilitating professional growth and development.
* Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve design processes and practices.
* Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the M&E design sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and design practices.
* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
* Proficiency in design software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant calculation tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Full UK driver's license.
