MIG Welder / Fabricator – Temp to Perm

40 hours per week+ (Mon–Thurs, 6:00pm–6am)
The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Knowsley for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for long-term employment with a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out MIG welding and operate metal cutting machinery
Weld and fabricate metal components into a variety of structures
Read and work from engineering drawings and technical plans
Operate workshop tools, machinery, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including tools and equipment
Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety requirements
Work across the workshop and other areas of the business as required
Additional Duties
Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures
Report any operational issues or concerns to management promptly
Support the wider team during busy periods and assist with additional tasks when required

About You
Proven experience in MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using metal cutting machinery and workshop tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
