To make a positive and proactive contribution to the team by achieving the annual business plan, maintaining and developing client-business relationships, and providing high-quality service through efficient and timely completion of compliance and advisory services to all clients.

Description

1. Deliver the Customer Care Programme to your portfolio, adding real value to their business.
2. Goals for each client: Minimize tax liabilities, improve profitability, and assist in wealth investment and protection for clients, their families, and their businesses.
3. Plan, prepare, and review financial accounts.
4. Identify and discuss barriers to completing work within budget or opportunities for generating income.
5. Resolve outstanding queries with clients before discussing files and final accounts with the Client Portfolio Manager, Managing Director, or Partner.
6. Prepare Business Tax Computations (Income Tax) for review.
7. Ensure the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients.
8. Maintain client's accounting records and management accounts as required.
9. If needed, prepare monthly/quarterly/half-yearly Management Information reports and advise clients on improving profitability or cash flow, including competitor analysis, pricing reviews, dashboards, and profit reports.
10. Work at client premises as required, participate in special projects, and undertake other tasks as reasonably assigned.

Profile

1. Possess commercial awareness to identify opportunities for additional fees or services and leverage networking to attract new clients.
2. Be effective in all aspects of accountancy work, completing and delivering jobs within agreed timescales and budgets.
3. Provide consistent, high-quality, proactive client service to maintain positive relationships.
4. Ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
5. Collaborate with the team to deliver and achieve the practice's annual Business Plan.
6. Assist the Managing Director in establishing and operating efficient systems and procedures to develop the business.
7. Have a good understanding of computer-based accounting software and be proficient in analyzing generated reports.
8. Stay current with changes in relevant laws and regulations.
9. Develop essential 'soft skills' to effectively relate to clients and deliver excellent service.

Job Offer

Salary up to £45,000
