General Purpose:
Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
Essential Duties:
* Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintains inventory records.
* Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu.
* Assists with social media schedule and content creation.
* Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and monitoring of food and beverage products. Communicates with management when supplies are needed.
* Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and SOPs provided by management.
* Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
* Performs opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
* Handles checks and cash transactions using the Point of Sales System.
* Reviews banquet schedule for changes, events, and special occasions.
* Serves catered parties from service or portable bars and occasionally serves meals to guests.
* Incorporates safe work practices and maintains reliable attendance.
* Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with POS systems (e.g., POSITOUCH, MICROS).
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, uses hands; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; lifts up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Certificates/Licenses:
ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and industry trends.
* Knowledge of cocktail recipes.
* Professional and courteous demeanor.
* Strong commitment to company values.
* Exceptional hygiene and positive representation.
* Fluent in English (speaking, writing, understanding).
* Must meet state age requirements for alcohol handling.
