Inpatient Coordinator in Ultrasound

We are looking for a well organised enthusiastic administrator to join our friendly team in the ultrasound department at Addenbrookes hospital. This is a busy role which will primarily involve organising ultrasound scans for patients who are on the wards or need emergency scans.
Main duties of the job
Good communication and telephone skills are essential as the role involves contacting the wards to arrange appointments and patient preparation for ultrasound scans and taking messages.
You will work closely with the sonographers, nursing staff and the radiology doctors to ensure that we deliver an efficient friendly service to the patients.
Previous experience of using computer systems will be an advantage however full training will be given.

Job responsibilities

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent NVQ level 2 Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ or equivalent experience
Experience
* Experience of working in a busy office environment or reception role
* Experience of prioritising, planning and organising own tasks
* Working with guidelines
* Experience of customer service or dealing with the public
* Experience of using computer systems

* Previous experience of working in the NHS
