Estate Head Chef
Location: Kelso, Scottish Borders
Salary: £45,000 + gratuities (£250 - £300 per month) + bonus scheme
Accommodation: Live-in available

An incredible opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Estate Head Chef to join the culinary team at a luxury 5-star hotel and estate, renowned for outstanding hospitality, refined dining, and a stunning Scottish Borders setting.
We're seeking a talented and inspiring leader who can deliver exceptional food that reflects the quality and character of this remarkable estate.
The Role
Lead all kitchen operations across the estate, ensuring consistent excellence in food quality and presentation
Develop and deliver innovative, seasonal menus showcasing the best local produce
Manage and mentor a skilled kitchen brigade, fostering creativity and high performance
Oversee ordering, stock control, and GP management
Maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards
Collaborate closely with senior management to enhance the overall dining experience
About You
Proven experience as a Head Chef within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or estate environment
Creative, passionate, and committed to the highest culinary standards
Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on developing others
Commercially savvy, with a clear understanding of GP management and cost control
Calm, professional, and confident under pressure
