Duties as an English Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in English Language and Literature
* Inspire students to appreciate a wide range of texts, from classic literature to contemporary works
* Develop students’ analytical, writing, and communication skills
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
* Encourage creativity and independent thinking in all students
* Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities such as book clubs, writing competitions, or drama productions
Ideal English Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
* Have experience teaching English at [Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and/or Key Stage 5]
* Are committed to making lessons engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all learners
* Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students as an English Teacher.
* Are dedicated to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues
