Join us as Marketing Communications Lead on a fixed term contract basis and play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and visibility of Zenzic, a subsidiary of the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK; an organisation valued for its expertise, neutrality, industry reach, and support in championing the UK’s connected and automated mobility ecosystem - playing a central role in the journey toward a sustainable, secure, and inclusive transport future.
As our Marketing Communications Lead, you’ll be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of an integrated marketing communications and events strategy that advances our mission. This includes aligning our messaging with our strategic objectives, enhancing our brand visibility, and engaging a wide range of stakeholders across industry, government, and academia.
You'll lead impactful campaigns that:
* Promote the UK’s strengths in connected and automated mobility (CAM) and accelerate the self-driving revolution
* Champion and enable UK organisations to play an impactful role in the future of mobility
* Strengthen the UK’s position as a global leader in sustainable transport innovation
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a strategic marketing communications plan
* Lead on brand alignment, campaign delivery, PR, and content development across multi-channels
* Plan and manage high-profile events, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the UK and internationally
* Evaluate campaign effectiveness and report on KPIs and impact
Essential Criteria
* Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
* Proven track record in marketing and communications
* Experience in complex stakeholder environments
* Strong event management experience
* Demonstrable brand management skills
* Experience of managing public relations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong editorial skills with experience in writing, editing, and proofreading content for different formats, e.g., print, digital, press
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
* Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, channels, and platforms, e.g., email marketing, web, and social media
* Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* A team player who works well across departments and with partners to deliver shared goals
