We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
* Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
* Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering to ensure adequate supplies are available.
* Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food preparation and safety.
* Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Assist in menu planning and development in conjunction with the Head Chef.
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment.
* Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food presentation.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
