Due to urgent new project awards, a leading manufacturer supplying the Aerospace & Defence sectors is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the team on an interim basis. Working closely with the Group Quality Manager, you will play a key role in managing New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and supporting NADCAP approvals to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
The Role
Develop, implement and improve quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
Support New Product Introduction.
Take lead on NADCAP processes, approvals and upcoming audit.
Work closely with engineering & production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards.
Support New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning.
Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices.
The Person
An experienced Quality Engineer with a good understanding of AS9001 and NADCAP.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
