The CFCD CBRS Grade 7 (G7) leads the Directorate’s approach to ensuring compliance with Security, Data, and Information requirements. This role involves managing responses to briefings and departmental requests through a Briefing Hatch function, identifying and mitigating key risks, and maintaining effective controls to ensure CFCD security.
As a team leader, collaboration and close working with your team are essential.
The G7 leads efforts to:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate CFCD risks, aligning with the DWP Risk Management Framework, and providing narratives for the CFCD Business areas that contribute to the DWP Services and Fraud Risk Plan.
* Report risks and mitigation activities to support decision-making by the Performance Risk and Deployment Board and executive team.
* Integrate risk awareness into daily business activities.
* Work with fraud, error, and debt (FED) Policy and CFCD functional areas to deliver timely and robust responses via the CFCD Briefing Hatch function.
* Enhance the Briefing Hatch function to meet growing FOI requests and changing briefing requirements.
* Coordinate with DWP Security and Information Management to ensure compliance, manage risks, and develop improvement plans.
* Promote Security, Data, and Information awareness to foster continuous compliance improvement.
* Develop and oversee the CFCD Business Continuity Plan within the DWP framework.
* Coordinate activities across CFCD to ensure business continuity plans are in place and tested.
* Support access to small-scale portals and establish new processes as needed.
* Assist with the DWP ID Badging Process to support colleagues requiring identification during visits.
This role involves frequent travel and overnight stays due to the team's dispersed locations.
