Start Date: Monday 23rd February (after half term)Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Part-time or Full-time available)Pay: £14 - £18 per hour (dependent on experience)
A secondary school in Bradford is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to join their team immediately after the half-term break. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school-based DT experience who is confident supporting both staff and students across a busy DT department.Key Responsibilities
* Preparing, maintaining, and organising materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons
* Supporting teachers during practical sessions and ensuring a safe working environment
* Maintaining machinery and carrying out routine safety checks
* Managing stock levels and ordering materials when required
* Assisting with classroom displays and project preparation
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a DT Technician in a school setting
* Strong understanding of workshop tools, machinery, and safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Availability to start on Monday 23rd February
* DBS on update service or happy to apply.
