Our client is an award-winning, professional financial advice firm with extensive experience managing wealth portfolios for ultra-high net worth individuals, with assets ranging from £2m to over £150m.
This role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to work in a progressive, award-winning independent financial planning firm located in a beautiful setting. The firm has established a strong reputation within the IFA/Financial Planner community.
Due to growth, the Director is creating a new role within the business for a Paraplanner. The position will be primarily office-based with occasional work-from-home days.
As a paraplanner, your responsibilities will include reporting on portfolio performance, analyzing market offerings, services, and products, and administering and implementing advice provided by the advisor you will support. The advice will cover pensions, investments, tax planning, IHT, mortgages, and some protections for clients across London and the surrounding counties. The firm also provides advice on Wills, Trusts, and Estate planning to assist with inter-generational planning.
Position – Qualified Paraplanner
* Must be diploma qualified; candidates with 1 or 2 exams remaining will also be considered.
* At least 3 years of experience in an IFA environment.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare annual reviews.
* Draft suitability letters.
* Update templates as needed, especially after budgets.
* Develop all templates and client-facing materials.
* Update internal systems with client data, emails, documents, and tasks.
* Liaise with clients regarding technical queries, end-of-tax-year questions, factual information, and permissions related to selling down assets to generate income or lump sums.
* Coordinate with Transact, Nucleus, and Fidelity platforms.
* Gain a comprehensive understanding of all platforms and their functionalities.
