I am currently working with a local authority in the West Midlands to recruit an interim Child and Family Worker. This local authority is dedicated to making a positive difference to their citizens through the services they offer. Working within their Children and Education service, you will be invaluable in improving the lives of families within the area.
Your new role
This role will involve working with children and their families to empower positive behavioural changes. You will be a key worker, managing a case load of families to co-ordinate and plan intensive support sessions with troubled families. You will work with these families from initial referral and assessment and continue to support them throughout with a range of individual and group sessions.
This is a 3-month contract working Monday to Friday to 5pm.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have had recent, referencable experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage a caseload ofplex cases.
You will need an enhanced DBS and a car with business insurance for this role.
