Job overview
* Provide Administrative support to clinical and non-clinical services.
* To work as part of a team.
* To answer telephone and/or email enquiries, processing and maintaining records (paper and electronic), using SystmOne, updating databases and spreadsheets, scanning, typing, photocopying, and arranging meetings/events
* To receive telephone calls from patients who wish to book or change their appointments or have general enquiries.
* To act as a first point of contact for all forms of communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
* Higher national certificate, vocational Qualification Level 4, Foundation Degree or equivalent experience
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Evidence of continued professional development within the last 12 months
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
* Ability to manage own workload and work unsupervised
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective report writing
* Effective organisational and time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
* Have a good working of knowledge of IT databases, e.g. Datix and SystmOne
* Previous experience of working in a busy, pressurised office environment
* Experience of implementing new systems and processes???
SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Evidence of self-management, organisation and time management skills
* Ability to manage and distribute workload for team members
