The Governors of St Thomas of Canterbury School (part of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust ) are looking for a dynamic, experienced Early Years Practitioner to work alongside our Early Years Teacher in our mixed Nursery and Reception class. This is a permanent post for three mornings and three lunch times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday). It would be beneficial for the candidate to have Level 2 NVQ or above. The candidate should be passionate about Early Years education and competent in understanding the Early Years Curriculum and assessing children's progress through observation under the support and direction of the class teacher. Essential qualities for the role include showing initiative, being creative and resourceful. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, supportive team who have high expectations of children's learning.
