The Role: Join Hampshire's School Crossing Patrol Service and become a valued part of your local community by helping to keep children and families safe on their journeys to and from school. This is a rewarding and highly visible role where you'll play a key part in promoting road safety and making a positive difference every day.
Responsibilities
* Take on a vital role in your community by helping children and families cross the road safely during busy school run times.
* Be a calm and reassuring presence at designated crossing points, ensuring pedestrians are protected and traffic is managed with care and confidence.
* Work as part of a team to ensure children and other pedestrians can travel to and from school safely.
* Work 10 hours per week during school term time, typically one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon.
* Receive a uniform to protect you in all weather conditions.

* Responsible, reliable, and committed to making Hampshire's roads safer for children and pedestrians.
* Good traffic awareness, the ability to stay alert in all conditions, and dedication to this community role.
* Calm and approachable manner, the ability to work independently, and the ability to use basic IT systems.
