Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership and management to ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for children.
* Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting positive outcomes for young people.
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of dedicated staff, fostering a culture of continuous development and high performance.
* Ensure effective safeguarding procedures are in place, prioritizing the welfare and wellbeing of all children.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, local authorities, and families.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
* Continuously strive for service improvement through monitoring, evaluation, and feedback.
Experience
What We Are Looking For:
* Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
* Level 3 in Children's residential
* At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role within a children’s residential setting managing care staff
* Worked 2 out of the past 5 years in children's residential
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for working with children and young people, with a commitment to promoting their development and well-being.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A full UK driving license is desirable.
