Events Administrator
Guildford Borough Council's Events Team has a wide range of responsibilities ensuring that residents can benefit from access to a varied and exciting programme of events across the borough.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to support the efficient working of all our activities. These include: working with organisers looking to hold events in our parks, open spaces, and town centre; running successful weekly and monthly markets; hiring advertising spaces; and licencing outdoor fitness classes and filming.
The role is 35 hours per week (0.95 FTE), however we would be interested in offering part-time hours for the right candidate.

'From April 2027, Guildford Borough Council and Waverley Borough Council will become part of the new West Surrey unitary council, as part of a major local government reorganisation across Surrey. This change will see the current twelve councils replaced by two new authorities: East Surrey and West Surrey.
