Electrical Bias Fault Finding and Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled technician responsible for electrical fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations at client sites. The role emphasizes delivering prompt and effective technical solutions to ensure high-quality building services maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage electrical PPM tasks, including proactive and reactive work assigned via helpdesk, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded.
2. Handle other building services maintenance tasks such as fabric, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
3. Respond to callouts as per the client rota.
4. Oversee contractor activities, monitor workmanship, and issue Permits to Work to ensure standards are met.
Qualifications and Competencies
Applicants must possess the following electrical qualifications:
* City & Guilds 2230 Level 3, NVQ 2356/2357, City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or AM1 and AM2.
* City & Guilds 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008).
Preferred candidates will also have:
* Inspection & Testing qualification (2394/5).
* JIB accreditation.
* IPAF/PASMA certification.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Knowledge of Authorised Person Responsibilities (AP(LV)).
* Extensive experience in electrical building services maintenance, fault finding, installation, and testing.
